NYE Stand Out Outfit Ideas

New Years Eve, one of the times where it's encouraged to be as extra as you possibly can - or is that just my motto? I absolutely love brainstorming ideas for what to wear each year, it's so much fun coming up with different and wyld outfit ideas. Here are some I came up with this year that will make sure you stand out wherever you celebrate NYE this year. Cheers, 2018!

Make a statement & rock a pantsuit.

This is an outfit that I'm 99% sure I'm going to be wearing, and a choice that screams how sophisticated and classy you really are, right? Right. A nice coordinated pantsuit has to be my #1 on this list. Pair with stilettos to accentuate your legs and figure (especially if you're only 5"3 like I am).

Midi Skirts & Tulle.

Again, another sophisticated and elegant look. Ditch the sequin booty shorts and skirts that were huge everywhere a few years ago, try out a midi skirt or even tulle this NYE. Tulle skirts are definitely an attention grabber that you should definitely try if you're feeling bold.

Leather?!

Like I previously said, I love brainstorming ideas that are really out there for New Years, and this idea definitely does that. Wear some killer leather pieces this NYE, for me personally, I would reach for a patent leather statement in red. I've been absolutely loving red PU leather moto jackets and the lace-up patent leather jeans from I.AM.GIA. Find at Urban Outfitters, Princess Polly, or I.AM.GIA.

Try a maxi.

Recently I've been seeing some beautiful maxi dresses and skirts, especially co-ord sets. Try out an elegant maxi or a leg-slit maxi to compliment your legs and flatter your body when you're out and about. Most of the pictures are from Lulus

Ditch the fur, go for feathers!

My advice on a NYE outfit is, again, to do something different and out of your comfort zone - what better way to start off the new year, right?! Try feathers instead of the fur you'll be seeing everywhere. While you don't see this too often, I found a few pieces that I absolutely love. Many can be found at Nordstrom. My favorite feather bags/clutches.

Cheers to 2018, WYLD SOULS — Stay Wyld in the New Year.
