Spring '24 Hair Trends You Don't Want To Miss

Spring is here and we have to talk about hair. You know I love finding new and creative ways to style hair and after doing a deep dive, here is all the spring hair trends you need to know.

  1. Braids. If you follow me on socials, you know I love doing so many different kinds f braids. We will be seeing a lot more braided updos and the girlies getting creative with their braid looks! There are so many variations out there, but a few examples include:

    • braided ponytails

    • braided buns

    • half up half down braided hairstyles

    • different variations of braids (snake braid, dutch braid, dragon tail braid, etc.)

  2. Embellished hairstyles. Think pearls, gemstones, flowers, etc to start incorporating into your looks! This is such an easy way to elevate simple hairstyles and to give it more character. Not to mention, an easy way to incorporate some color into your look.

    • a trick to get this look is to either purchase or DIY embellished bobby pins. It’s really just a bobby pin with a pear, gem, flower, etc attached to the top of it, so when it’s slid into the hair, all you see is that embellishment! Its a subtle and clean way to add some “flare” to your hairstyles.

  3. Headbands. You might have already noticed the huge influx of everyone styling fabric headbands. They are huge currently. This will continue all through spring! Also think puffy headbands as well, and comb headbands too. Get creative with it!

  4. Bows. Incorporating ribbon and bows into the hair adds the perfect amount of girly to any outfit. I personally just love tying a satin ribbon into your hair instead of buying a fully shaped bow clip in. I think it’s so girly and effortless.

  5. Flowers. Think the revival of Coachella flower crowns but deconstructed. I’ve seen a few different variations of how we are styling flowers into hair this season:

    • metal flowers: small dainty metal flower (clips or bobby pins) are the perfect touch of feminine and edgy.

    • dainty flowers added into braids

    • tiny ditsy flower headbands

  6. Hair cuffs. We are talking huge ponytail hair cuffs that are chunky and metal. I just styled this at Coachella this past weekend :) These hair cuffs add a level of elegance and effortlessness to a look. Super simple, yet so chic!

I can’t wait to see how you all style your hair this spring!
